Poppy

At just 5 days old Poppy was abandoned and adopted by Sunbeams Play's Manager. As she grew Poppy became an important member of our team and a welcomed visitor to the centre. The children and young people attending the centre supported Poppy as she grew, each taking turns to bottle feed and play with her. Through her journey Poppy has provided opportunities to learn about pet care and development with stories about her adventures including medical and health needs. As Poppy has got older it is becoming harder to keep her in the centre, her natural instincts to go out and hunt places her at a high risk of danger. With this in mind it has been decided that she will retire and only visit during special occasions.
