abandoned at birth, the children and young people attending the centre
supported Poppy as she grew, each taking turns to bottle feed and play with
her. Through her journey Poppy provided opportunities to learn about pet care
and development through stories about her adventures including medical and
health needs. As Poppy got older it become harder to keep her in the centre,
her natural instincts to go out and hunt placed her at a high risk of danger.
