1-2-3 Magic - Dates to be arranged

Parents and carers -

1-2-3 Magic provides an easy-to-learn parenting programme, helping parents build strong, positive relationships with their children and overcome difficult behaviour. Developed by clinical psychologist, Thomas W. Phelan, Ph.D. and recommended by ADDiSS to support children with or without additional needs.

The 1-2-3 Magic programme runs for 2-2½ hours a week for 4 weeks and is FREE for parents and carers of Sunbeams Play children and young people.

Open to:

Parents and carers outside of Sunbeams £15.00 per person

Professionals £25.00 per person

Teachers

1-2-3 Magic in the Classroom offers advice and strategies for teachers eager to develop better discipline. Developed by clinical psychologist, Thomas W. Phelan, Ph.D. and recommended by ADDiSS to support children with or without additional needs, has been used for over twenty-five years by parents, teachers and other care givers providing practical methods for eliminating disruptive behaviour, encouraging communication and productive work habits.

Using straightforward language 123 Magic shows teachers how to measure discipline in a classroom environment, as well as how to handle difficult situations like assemblies, lunchtime, and field trips.

The 1-2-3 Magic programme can be provided as flexible ‘In House’ Training; available for educational settings with a minimum of 10 attendees, and can be presented as:

A 1-day training session,

2 half days or

2-2½ hours a week for 4 weeks.
