Easter Egg Run

We were delighted to welcome over 30 Harley Davidson owners from the Iceni Chapter Norfolk who rode in convoy from Blofield to bring Easter Eggs to the children and young people attending Sunbeams Play and their siblings. They arrived with over 90 chocolate eggs and stayed at the centre allowing the children, young people and parents the opportunity to talk and sit on the bikes. This annual event has taken place over the last three years with the chapter raising over £3,000 for the centre. This year we were presented with a cheque for a £1000 and a pledge to continue to support Sunbeams again this year. As the bikes rode in those attending cheered and clapped, commenting on the amazing sounds and sights of this spectacular event. The children delighted in being able to sit on the various bikes and trikes with one telling the owner ‘This is wonderful I never believed I could do it’!
